CCEC's new laser surgeon, Dr. John J. DeStafeno, is a board certified corneal specialist who was awarded and completed the prestigious 2-year advanced fellowship in Corneal and Refractive Surgery at Duke University. Unlike many other LASIK surgeons, Dr. DeStafeno used this advanced training to focus on all aspects of Laser Vision Correction. He received training and certification on the newest generation of excimer lasers and "no blade" LASIK technology.
